Opendmarc has its own internal SPF checking code that is used when compiled --
with-spf, but not linked against libspf2. The internal code is by no means a
complete implementation of the SPF spec. My kvetching about that is (I think)
why linking against libspf2 is an option.
It's not required to use libspf2 (btw, libspf is a completely separate
ancient, abandoned code base, so to be clear, it's libspf2 you want), but I
certainly recommend it. That's what I did in the Debian packages.
