I have an other patch running here without issues:

current version implement "RequiredHeaders" to inspect header for
RFC5322 conformance (exact one From field, exact one Date field, not more then one To field ...)

If enabled, any nonconforming message is rejected. I have a weaker version.
"RequiredHeader yes" only log nonconforming messages and a new value
"RejectRequiredHeadersFailures yes" really reject them. (this is still "no" here)

That way I minimize collateral damage but now have a feeling about *how many* message are nonconforming:
pretty low volume, but most messages I would not have rejected!

Patch attached.

I wish, opendmarc could add a header "X-RFC5322-Conformance: yes | no, $whats wrong"
That Header I could be weighted by spamassassin later.
But that function I have not implemented yet.
