[opendmarc-users] trusteddomain.org mail server

I noticed while signing up for this mailing list my reply to join email 
was deferred several times due to a time out.

postfix/smtp[241277]: 4GQqWs0RrPz4l3gH: 
to=<opendmarc-users-request at trusteddomain.org>, 
relay=medusa.blackops.org[208.69.40.157]:25, delay=96, delays=86/0/10/0, 
dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (conversation with 
medusa.blackops.org[208.69.40.157] timed out while receiving the initial 
server greeting)

I had to increase my timeout settings for it to finally go through.

Is this normal? Some kind of spam policy? Or was the server just extra 
busy at that time?
