Well if I can get it working on a setup that isn't nonsensical then  
rejecting becomes a lot more attractive!

Scanning local mail did a decent job of proving to me that there's no bug  
in what I have installed, it must be purely my config. I reason that  
everything can communicate, it's just I have an odd setting that tells the  
milter to skip. I shall throw myself back into the manual and see what  
else I can find.
