I think there are two points of perspective:

1. What policy does a provider set
2. What policy do I set on my MX

With the current situation, a remote provider can enforce a policy that I do not wish to accept. Mails being set on hold. At the other hand, I don’t care about a providers policy, if that company decides to enforce a „none“ or „reject“ policy. In the latter case Yahoo or AOL. If they want there mail being rejected, they have the problem with their users. So my yet simple patch exactly does this.

I think there is really only one situation that is not okay and this is that a remote MTA can influence my setup that my MTAs set mails on hold. Both other decisions (accept or reject) will keep the house clean :-)

Hope someone votes for my patch.

It does _not_ mean that Andreas idea is bad. Just another feature request. My solution only focuses on the quarantine problematic.
