[opendmarc-users] Other suggestions

While going through the bug/feature list for 1.2.0, I came across these
two ideas. I wanted to see what the rest of you think in terms of whether
it's a good idea, would you use it, etc. They're both related to
processing the From: field.

1) If there are multiple addresses in the From: field (yes, this is
legal), confirm that they're all from the same Organizational Domain;
reject otherwise.

2) For each domain found in the From: field, confirm that it has an MX or
A/AAAA record in it so that it's, at least in theory, a replyable address;
reject if any of them do not.

The current code actually can't cope with the notion of a multi-valued
From: field in the first place, so if we do either or both of these, that
code will need to be enhanced anyway. For that reason, these may get
punted out to the next version even if we want them, but I'd like to get a
gauge of interest first.

Thanks,
-MSK
