maybe it is possible to *not* link opendmarc-check agains libspf2

my buildsystem told me also
   dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: dependency on libspf2.so.2 could be avoided if
   "debian/opendmarc-utils/usr/sbin/opendmarc-check" were not  
uselessly linked against it
   (they use none of its symbols).

that way I could package opendmarc-check in a separate -utils package  
the will not
depend on libspf2

I added the patch http://sf.net/p/opendmarc/tickets/93/ for testing purposes
to my setup...
